Feasibility Studies

The purpose of a feasibility study is to maximize the opportunity to raise money and to minimize the risk. It answers the simple question “Can I raise this much money for this purpose and, if so, what are the critical success factors?” It is also the unofficial launch of the fundraising campaign because it is the charity’s first contact with potential investors.

We examine the strengths and weaknesses of your organization, conduct interviews to assess the viability of the plan and its financial goals, identify sources of funding, determine campaign timing and milestones, identify potential campaign leaders and volunteers, begin a preliminary engagement with potential donors, gather resources and other useful information, and identify any areas of concern or opportunity. The feasibility study will give you the confidence to begin your campaign knowing that all possibilities have been assessed and the best direction has been chosen.
